Purell Hand Sanitizer in Flu SeasonSince the cold/flu season is upon us now, I would like to share a tip that I have used for several years. I buy the 0.5 fl. Oz. bottles of Purell Hand Sanitizer. I carry one in my purse, have several in my truck, and keep one in my pocket for times I don't have my purse. They are very handy for children and teens to carry with them to school or trips to the mall. You don't need water or a tissue for drying your hands. They come in packages of six or eight and can be bought at Wal-Mart, Target, drug stores or your grocery in the hand soap section. When in public I always open the door after washing my hands with paper towels if they have them, if not, sneak a few pieces of toilet tissue. By Chris

Remembering to Take Your PillsAlways forgetting if you remembered to take your pills at noon? Here's an easy and cheap way to keep track. Using an egg carton, number the cups with the hours of the day from rising to bedtime. Place the appropriate dosage of each pill in the correctly numbered cup. Viola! No more missed doses. Earrings That Cause Itchy EarsSome of the earrings I wear have caused my ear lobes to break out, get itchy and turn red. I find that by putting clear nail polish on the backs of those earrings, I am able to still wear the earrings I really like. After some use, I find I need to re-apply the polish. It works great. Milk Jugs for Dry StorageDon't cut up your plastic milk jugs! I wash them out and then use them for storage. It's much easier to pour powdered milk from the plastic jug than the large cardboard boxes and I can see how much I have left.
