Mom's Apple DumplingsRecipe for Mom's Apple Dumplings. Mix dry ingredients. Crumble in shortening. Stir in milk to make a soft dough. Roll out, then spread with butter, 4 cup chopped apples and cinnamon. Roll up and cut 1 inch slices. Place in 9x13 inch cake pan and bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.

 

Breakfast BurritoRecipe for Breakfast Burritos. Take taco shells out of fridge and bring to room temperature. Fry potatoes according to directions. Turn heat down to medium. Pour in eggs and scramble with the potatoes. Add some salsa and shredded cheese to taste.

 

Carrot Zucchini FrittersMix everything together in order given just until combined. In a large skillet, heat 1/4 cup oil and drop by tablespoon into hot oil and fry until browned on both sides.

 

Rhubarb Cream DelightMix together and pat into 9x13 inch cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes.

 

Hearty Pumpkin SoupSaute' pepper, onion, parsley and bay leaf in butter until tender. Do not brown. Add tomatoes, pumpkin or squash, water and bouillon. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat.

 

Berry Marble CobblerRecipe for Berry Marble Cobbler. Mix 1/2 cup sugar, flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in milk, vanilla and butter. Put batter in 9x13 inch pan. Scatter berries over batter. Put 1/2 cup sugar over the berries and juice or water over it all.

 

White Chocolate CakeThis is a great holiday dessert item. It's very pretty and looks good for any special occasion.

 

Denatured Alcohol for Stain RemovalDenatured alcohol (paint/hardware dept.) will remove Sharpie and other inks from most surfaces (haven't found one it won't work on yet). Put it in a spray or squeeze bottle, spritz it on the mark (it doesn't take much) and wipe off. Repeat if necessary.
