Centennial Pickled PeachesPut spices in cloth bag and boil in the water mixed with vinegar and sugar. Peel peaches and add to liquid. Cook until tender. Put in jars and pour hot syrup over and seal.

Mustard SpreadScald cream in double boiler. Mix egg yolks, mustard, flour, sugar and salt. Add egg mixture to cream and cook until thick. Add hot vinegar.

Aunt Clara's Chicken and DumplingsPlace chicken in Dutch oven, cover with water and add parsley, celery, carrot, onion, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and boil 5 minutes, simmer 2 hours or until tender. Add more water if necessary.

Use Plastic Placemats For Cutting BoardSince recently moving, have misplaced a plastic cutting board. Went to the dollar store and purchased a plastic place mat, (not the kind that has foam on the back side) and I use this place mat for any cutting of vegetables/meats, etc.
