Apple Cake Bar (For Diabetics)Mix the first items together in the order given. Then add the fruit mixture. Put in an 8x10 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 40-45 minutes.

Marinated Pot RoastCombine the red wine vinegar, water, onion, bay leaves and place in a large plastic bag that can be sealed. place the top round or rump roast in the marinade. Seal the bag and place in the refrigerator overnight. Remove the roast and strain the marinade to reserve juice (but get rid of spices).

Pecan Encrusted Pork ChopsPreheat the oven to 350 degrees F. In a shallow bowl, whisk the syrup, mustard and lemon juice together. In another shallow bowl, add the pork chops and coat with the liquid mixture. Dredge the chops in the pecans; make certain to coat all of the pork chops.

Mixing Starch in a Spray BottleWhen I worked, I used starch in many of my clothes. A cheap alternative to the spray cans (which don't last long at all), is to buy some liquid starch. I would mix it in a spray bottle - usually about 1/2 water to 1/2 starch for fairly heavy starch results.
