Cherry CobblerRecipes for Cherry Cobbler.

 

Tea MuffinsSift dry ingredients together. Mix wet ingredients well and stir into dry mixture. Fill greased muffin tins 3/4 full and bake at 400 degrees F for 25 minutes. Makes 1 dozen muffins.

 

Fan o'FlanBoil meat 20 minutes briskly, drain. Spray 1 large glass pan with non-stick spray, layer meat, rice, veggies, cheese evenly. Whisk eggs and half and half until frothy, pour into casserole slowly. Garnish as desired.

 

Liver Albanian StyleIn a small bowl, combine onion, cayenne, parsley and sugar; set aside. In a medium bowl, combine liver and liqueur; let stand 15 minutes. Drain; par dry on paper towels.

 

Chinese Style Chicken WingsIt's a sure winner at our house and perfect for parties. The best part about it besides the incredible taste is that it's easy to make and inexpensive. You'll make it again and again.

 

Beet SaladStir together beets, apple, raisins, celery and walnuts. Sprinkle the liquids over and mix thoroughly. Refrigerate.

Use Antbacterial Gel in Your BathroomOur house is 100 years old and any activity on the plumbing affects the water pressure. When someone is in the shower it is a big problem. I have added anti-bacterial gel next to the sink so if you need to "wash" your hands the person in the shower doesn't get scalded.

 

Over Easy Eggs without FlippingIf you like over easy eggs, but hate to flip them, here's a nice thing I learned while cooking for a living. Have a nice flat pan or a skillet that allows for a flat center. Get a squirt bottle with some water, and a good lid that covers the pan or at least the eggs.

 

Use Cake Mix to Flour a PanMy mom gave me this tip a few years ago. When a cake mix calls for greasing and flouring the pans, she uses butter to grease and some of the dry cake mix to flour the pan. The cake doesn't end up with white on the outside and it doesn't taste bad like flour would.
