Save Cherry Pits for Heating PadsI save cherry pits to make my own heating pad. I wash the pits and dry them thoroughly. Either put the washed pits outside in the hot sun or heat them in an 250 degree F oven for one half hour or until thoroughly dried.

Cap Caulk Tube With Clipped EndWhen cutting the top off a tube of caulking, save the end piece. When you are finished using the caulking, turn the piece around and insert into the tube hole. You have a perfect cap and no more dried out caulking.

 

Anchor Tea Bags With a ClothespinWhile making tea, the "end papers" kept getting to close to the burner. So I used a clothespin to anchor them in place. Afterward, I opened the tea bags and put them in with the coffee grounds to put on the roses and in the garden.
