White Texas SheetcakeNot being able to eat chocolate, I was thrilled to find this replacement! Bring 1 cup butter and water to boil, remove from heat. Mix flour, sugar, eggs and sour cream with the butter and water. Add almond flavoring, salt and soda and mix.

 

Custard BiscuitsSo yummy! Preheat oven to 355 degrees F (180 degrees C) degrees. Cream margarine and sugar. Beat in custard powder. Add flour and make a dough.

 

Cream of Broccoli SoupCook onion, broccoli, and potato in chicken broth until tender. Then puree in blender for 2 minutes. Return to pan and add milk and cheese. Heat until cheese is melted.

 

Chicken and Dressing CasseroleThis recipe calls for chicken, but it is a great way to use left over turkey from the holiday meals as well. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Saute' onion, celery and mushroom in margarine until semi-tender. Add soups and evaporated milk and heat through.

 

Spiced Pineapple Raisin Rum Bread PuddingCombine pineapple, milk, and bread in a mixing bowl. Stir together and let stand for 10 minutes. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Pour the mixture into a lightly oiled 9x9 inch baking pan.

 

Sweet and Sour WienersAnother finger food that can be made ahead and is popular at parties. Combine last 6 ingredients, stir over med. heat until it thickens. Cool. Slice weiners in 1 and 1/2 inch pieces and add to sauce. Marinate overnight.
