Jicama Lentil Barley SoupEven in the Spring and Summer I love soup and a slow cooker is the way to go to keep the kitchen cooled down.

 

Crockpot Pulled PorkThis is a great, easy recipe that feeds a crowd! Mix the spices and rub into the meat. Let stand in in the refrigerator, covered, overnight. Cook in the crockpot for 5 hours on high, 10 hours on low.

 

Easy Lasagna Noodles with Roasted BroccoliEasy and Delicious. First, set oven to 400 degrees F. Place foil on a lined cookie sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and season to taste, salt, pepper, garlic powder, etc.

 

Chocolate Sheet CakeMix and set aside flour, sugar and soda. Bring to a boil in saucepan; cocoa, margarine, water and oil, stirring constantly. Add to flour mixture. Pour vinegar into milk and wait until it starts to curdle. Add to batter. Add eggs and vanilla and beat.

 

Taco Hot DishBrown hamburger and onion together. Drain off any grease. Add tomato sauce and taco mix to meat mixture. Crush tortilla chips and spread in bottom of 9x13 inch pan.

 

Quick Breakfast BreadSo many to ways vary this simple quick bread. Dissolve yeast in the warm water, sift together your flour, baking powder and salt, cut in the butter then add your dissolved yeast.

 

Rose's Lime Cake FrostingThe best I've ever made. Pretty and tastes good too. Stir it all up with a fork, and add more sugar if you're making a frosting that needs to be thicker or add a bit more Rose's Lime to make it thinner as in a glaze.

Recovering StoolsI re-cushioned my two step stools today. One had a tear in it and the other had rust on it so it was nice and easy to recover them with a vinyl table cloth that I had bought to compliment my kitchen colors and design.
