11th Birthday Party Ideas?

My daughter is turning 11 on Friday, June 14. She wants a pool party and we don't even have one, neither does our neighbors or friends. Please help!

Businesses that offer swim lessons frequently have birthday parties for kids. Call and confirm because sometimes they mess up scheduling. I googled "swim lessons and Cali LA" and came up with several suggestions which might be useful.

On the other hand, you can have a 'no-swim swim' party, buy a few water slides and a fun sprinkler, have a kiddie swimming pool with games and prizes that require getting wet (who can collect all the disks in 1 minute...) and host the party in your back yard.

With more advance notice, some school districts rent out their pools. It's kind of late now, but you could try to find a local hotel that has a pool and rent a hotel room and have a pizza party.

You probably can't invite too many kids, but a small group would be fun.
