My daughter is turning 12 this August. She wants to have a party with a few friends, but doesn't know what to do. She doesn't really want to go roller skating, or anything of the sort, but she wants something special. She and her friends aren't really dancers, so a dance party is out of the game. She's not very girly, but not really tomboyish either. She's inviting about 12 girls. Any ideas?

First I would think of a fun theme everyone could participate in. Maybe Glow in the Dark thats always fun. Or since its the end of summer perhaps its still warm enough to have an "end of summer camp out" If you have the space you could always have a small bonfire and roast marshmallows make smores. If the girls like doing arts and crafts you could have everyone make a card and put them together in a scrapbook for a surprise gift from everyone at the party. Whatever you decide I hope you have a good time!
