My little sister is turning 12 and she wants it to be in our front yard and wants it to involve water. Does anyone have any ideas?

Water fight with water balloons and water pistols. Kids love this, and it is harmless. You might also see if you can get a slip and slide. That might be fun as well. If you opt for the waterfight, make sure kids know ahead of time so they can bring a change of clothes and/or come dressed in bathing suits with something dry to change into. Have larger pails to put water in available so that the water mess is all outside and everyone can get refilled quickly. Works best on a hot, hot day when getting soaked feels wonderful rather than chilly!!
