My 13 year old wants to have her birthday party soon and wants to invite 16 people. Unfortunately her friends all live about an hour away from her, so she can't have it at our house. Anyone have any suggestions that won't cost a fortune?

I would find a party place midway and have the food and party games there.
Can you find a location in the middle to host. Perhaps a local park? Have a picnic or BBQ party. Or a pool, beach. Bowling alley?
I used to have that same dilemma as a child. We would go to a big park central to the majority of the guests' locations
where does she usually see these friends, school? I really think the party should come to her, but i guess a bowling party could be fun
