My birthday is coming up on the 20th of June, but I would like to have my party earlier and send invites out in about a week. I would like to have a unique party, something different from what everyone else always has. I'm inviting around 20 friends, both guys and girls. Because it is such a large number, I will have to have a local party. I know that I would like the second half to be just all of us eating and sitting at a table, doing the cake, etc., but I would like to do an activity for the first half. I was originally thinking movies, but the movies are so often done for birthday parties. My budget is around $350 maximum. I would like an activity in which we are able to talk and be together the whole time, but any suggestions are welcome. Please help me!

Bowling might hit the spot. Also, festivals at farmer's markets are good for this sort of thing.
What about a party at the beach or a local park?
If at the park: You can do all sorts of fun activities there. Water balloon fight? Playing sports - tag, flag football, catch, theres a lot online for sports for that amount of people.
