It's my 17th birthday coming up and I want to do something fun with around 12 friends. I have a limited budget so usually I opt for something like bowling and the cinema, but I think I'd like to do something a bit different this year. Any ideas?

You should make the girls go out to a hotel to hang and have fun!
A spa party is always a hit. You can do just manicures and pedicures or hair and facials.

Would be a pool party be fun? If it's still warm where you live for your birthday! You can do a BBQ too. Some music as entertainment.

Go to a park that has BBQ pits and do food and cake and music. Since you have so many people, opt to get there early on the weekend to "reserve" your spot :)

My kids, even those in their 20s, like bonfires with food and sometimes we also do a hayride
