Air Conditioning for Disabled Persons?

I recently had to turn down a job because my husband is disabled and got sick at the same time my son did. We are in need of air conditioning to keep their health from getting worse. In Mississippi, how can we receive service for a free air conditioner for people on SSI disability? Also I am unable to work and must stay home to care for my child and husband, how can I apply for funds or be paid to care for them?
