Apple Bread


  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 4 cups chopped, pared apples
  • Ad
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon


Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease and flour 2 loaf pans. Mix eggs, sugar, oil and vanilla until ingredients are well mixed. Combine flour, baking soda, and cinnamon. Stir in creamed mixture just until well mixed. Stir in apples and nuts. Divide between the two loaf pans. Mix topping together and sprinkle over loaves. Bake at 325 degrees F for 1 hour, 10 minutes.
