Apple Fritters


  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. confectioners' sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 sweet apples, peeled, and chopped
  • Ad
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Confectioners' sugar
  • vegetable oil


Combine dry ingredients in medium size mixing bowl. Combine milk and egg. Stir into dry ingredients. Stir in apples. Drop batter by teaspoonfuls into deep hot oil. Fry until brown, turning once. Drain on absorbent paper, sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.

Connie, you have put me in the mood for apple fritters. I like your recipe, less flour and I can use milk that I keep on hand . Thank you for posting your recipe (11/14/2007)
