We eat these a lot in the summer. It's quick and everyone likes them. Great for the BBQ.
Ingredients:
1 package of hamburger
8 hamburger buns
4 cheese slices in halves
1 onion, diced
1/2 cup cornflakes, chopped up
1 egg
salt and pepper, to taste
8 slices of bacon, fried crispy
one tomato, sliced
Directions:
Put your hamburger in mixing bowl. Mix in 1 egg until mixed well; it's easiest with your hands. Add the onion, cornflakes, salt and pepper. Mix well. Then roll into hamburger patties.
Remove from oven and add your bacon, tomato and whatever condiments you like. You can also add lettuce.
In a bowl, combine ground beef, soup mix and water; mix well. Shape into 12 thin patties. Place a cheese slice on 6 of the patties. Cover each with another patty. pInch edges to seal. Wrap a strip of bacon around each; fasten with a wooden toothpick. Grill for 8 to 10 minutes, turning once, or until burgers reach desired doneness. Remove toothpicks and serve on buns.
Mix meat and 2 Tbsp. ranch dressing. Shape into 8 thin patties. Mix remaining ranch dressing and bacon. Spoon about 1 Tbsp. of bacon mixture onto center of each of 4 patties. Top with 2 single quarters of cheese and second patty. Pinch together edges of patties to seal. Grill patties 7-9 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Add lettuce and tomato.
