Banana Crush Punch

This is an excellent punch recipe! It is good for any occasion, even every day!

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups sugar
  • 6 cups water
  • 1 can pineapple juice (46oz.)
  • 2 cans frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed (12oz. size)
  • 1 can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed (12oz.)
  • 5 bananas
  • 7 bottles lemon-lime pop (28oz. size)

Directions:

To freeze: Dissolve sugar in water. Add juices. Peel and mash bananas; put through fool processor and immediately stir into juice. Ladle into wide-topped freezer containers, leaving 1 inch head space. Cover tightly; freeze.

To serve: Thaw in refrigerator to mushy consistency, about 4 hours. In punch bowl, mix crush with equal quantity of pop; stir. Crush can be used without freezing by mixing with equal quantity of carbonated beverage and serving with ice. Add fresh strawberry slices for color, if desired.
