I have ugly yellow tiles in my bathroom. What color should I paint the walls and what color shower curtain?

Are the tiles on the wall or the floor? If on the wall; then yellow isn't a color you have to take into consideration when choosing colors.
Is the room small or large? If the room is small then stay with light colors. If the room is large, you can go with a dark or bold color.
Does the room have a little or a lot of natural light? If it brings in a lot of natural light, you can go dark/bold. If it has less natural light; then use pastel colors.
Consider a print shower curtain finding one you like really well and then use the color in the curtain on the walls. You can take the curtain to the paint dept. and match the paint chips closely to the colors in the curtain and decide the wall paint color you like best.
