We are refreshing a master bath from the 80s. We are changing the vanity, new lights, replacing patterned backsplash around tub to the same cream as sides. Now I need a paint colour, but am not sure whether to go with a neutral light taupe, master bedroom is toasty grey, or I have always loved the light blue/green seagrass colour.

I would go with the neutral colour, and do the towels and accessories in the colours that you like, such as the blue/greens. However, if you really love the blue (that's what it looks like here), go ahead. You will be limited in your choice of accessory colour, but if this is a favorite, maybe that is not a consideration. You do need to be sure that the colour will look good with the cabinets, and we can't tell for sure from the photos. If you go with the blue/green, you might decorate with an ocean theme - darker blue or green towels and white towels, seagrass and shells as ornaments, etc.
