Bathroom Paint Color Advice

I have green tile with a black border tile in my small bathroom. What color should I paint the upper walls. It previously had wallpaper.

On HGTV they say the lighter color should be on top, but if the tile is dark and you go too light, it will be too much of a contrast. You could try going with the same color as the tile, only a few shades lighter. (10/19/2010)
