| Saving Money On Soaps

I purchase a 64 ounce bottle of liquid refill 'Soft Soap' (it's quite concentrated) at whatever store has it on sale and dilute it with equal parts of water in to empty shampoo bottles, hand soap bottles and dish soap bottles. In a pinch I've even used it as laundry soap!

I would like to make my own liquid shower soap. I have made liquid laundry soap and shredded bar soap. Is there something I would need to add to shredded bar soap to make bath and shower soap? Does anyone have instructions for this project?

| Product that Reuses Remnants of Soap
|

Does anyone know of a product that re-uses remnants of soap. When it's ready to be thrown away, there is a device to put the slivers into, and suds up with water. I had seen one about 15 years ago when recycling was unheard of.
