Use Plastic Bag for Shower Cap
We had checked into a hotel recently when I discovered I had forgotten my shower cap. It was midnight, and I did not want to make a trip out to purchase one and the one provided by the hotel was just too small for my big head of long hair.

Uses for Leftover Coffee
Instead of reusing coffee grounds as some people do, I reuse the leftover coffee itself. It seems that nobody wants to drink the last cup or two in the pot in our house so, instead of throwing it down the sink, I blend it with the fresh pot.

Clean Hair Bows With Dish Soap
My daughter wears bows in her hair and they are always getting dirty. Instead of spending $5-$10 to replace the dirty bows, I used a small brush and Dawn dishwashing liquid and scrubbed the bows clean.

Use Artificial Bouquets as Hair Accessories
This is a alternative to buying hair accessories that typically cost $3 and up! You know those bouquets that sell for 99 cents at the dollar stores or Wal-Mart?

Deep Conditioning Treatment at Home
I'm a "from the box" redhead. This can result in needing a good deep conditioning once in awhile. The same goes for my teenage granddaughters with their natural blond hair.
