Remedy for Dark Circles Under Eyes
Here's a beauty tip that works for me. If you have dark patches under your eyes, grate some cucumber and apply it 2 or 3 times a day.

Makeup is Not Staying on My Face
My makeup does not last any length of time. Within 1/2 an hour, the eyeliner disappears, by noon my mascara is gone and my foundation is barely there. It's not like the eye makeup smudges or smears, it's simply gone.

Ask for Makeup Samples
I have been feeling a little guilty about spending money on make up with my husband losing his job recently, but I was talking to one of the sales people at my local Ulta and she said do not hesitate to ask for samples and try before I buy.

Stretch Liquid Makeup With Mineral Oil
I had a small amount of (Cover Girl) liquid makeup in a shade I wanted to use up. I poured into the bottle a small amount of mineral oil, shook it vigorously and that made just enough for one use.

Throw Away Old Makeup
Even in this tough economy, do not hold on to old make up. Many of us have old cosmetics filling up the shelves of our bathroom. Did you know that with repeated use, bacteria can grow in your make up and that eye make up is most at risk.

Using Eyebrow Stencils
After you color in your eyebrows using stencils do you tweeze the remaining? And how do you know which stencils match your face?

Use Eyeshadow Applicators For Concealer
Here is a tip I came upon by accident :) I have so many eyeshadow applicators (the sponge type) that I don't use because I use brushes instead. You know what?! They are EXCELLENT for patting on concealer! You can pat it on under your eyes on a blemish or discoloration and the little sponge applicator is just the right size!! Now I keep all of my clean ones in a little ziploc to keep them handy. They are also useful for patting on ointment, etc.

Organizing Your Makeup
I am always bothered that it takes me so long to put on my makeup, and realized finally that it was because it takes so long to find my items among the pile. Lip liners often look similar to eyeliners, the new slim lipsticks and the handles of brushes look similar to mascara containers, etc.

Smokey Eyed Look
How can I get that smokey look on my eyes without getting eye pencil all down my face, and looking like a Panda? I use a Revlon pencil, or a Rimmel one. I love that very dark-eyed look. My eyes are very dark brown.

Using Loreal's Mineral Powder Makeup
I bought some mineral makeup by Loreal. I haven't worn makeup in 15 yrs and don't know what to do. I have used it 3 days and have been told I look wonderful. That is great, but I feel like I am doing it wrong or something. It is all powder and really does stay on until the end of my work day.
