I have had very dry skin since birth. I experience many problems during the winter. Can you please suggest to me any treatments/products for permanent treatment for it. This is a genetic problem in my family.
Is there any clinical research going on in India about the very dry skin since birth? To date I could not find any doctor for treatment of my dry skin problem. Everybody says it's a genetic problem and can not be treated with medications.
I have really dry skin, and have tried many types of lotions to help. Most lotions that I used ended up leaving my skin slippery, which might leave a residue on fabrics I'm working with or get in the way of my work.
How do I get rid of a callous on my elbow? I probably developed it from propping my elbow on my desk. I went to dermatologist to have it removed. She said if she removed it may hit a nerve. It gets dry and scaly. All lotion or Vaseline does it soften it.
My feet get calloused in the summer. I have found that the best solution is a medium grit sanding sponge that you purchase in the hardware or home improvement store.
I have these white, dry looking spots on my arms and I'm starting to get them on my stomach too. I've had them for about 2 years. What should I do to make them go away?
I've been doing a lot of volunteering at a clinic and find my hands are becoming very dry from handling paperwork. Lotioning up before going in isn't helping much. Any suggestions?
While coming back from vacation in NC last week we stopped at a small country store around Pickens, SC. My wife picked up a jar of hand lotion marked "Drummers Hand" Intense Lotion for Extreme Dry Skin. My wife says it is the best she has ever used but we cannot locate the store to call them (can't remember the name nor exact location). She did remember the lady in the store told her a lady in Asheville NC made it but the jar had no contact information. It did list the ingredients.
