What is the best option (oil paint, emulsion, or distemper) for walls made of clay soil mixed with rice husks?

Is this for indoor or outdoor use?
I don't know what country you are in but from the paints you mentioned on the outside Oil base would be your best bet as it will seal and help preserve, on the inside if you wish to wipe it down if you can't get acrylic paint then check out which ones are better for your area. Where you buy the paint is where to ask. A picture would be great. Personally I would love to see it.
