What You Shouldn't Try Yourself (But Maybe You Have)
Chopping the budget is invigorating, especially when extra money can be seen as a result. However, sometimes it can get a bit too invigorating and lead to some over-pruning. What You Should Be Doing Yourself (But Might Not Be)
By Kelly Ann Butterbaugh

Getting Ready for Winter

Do You Really Need "New" Clothes?
Think honestly to yourself. Most of us only use maybe 20% of the apparel in our closets and dresser drawers! Why not resist the impulse to have something new simply to have something new and we usually purchase on impulse anyway :-(

30 Tops - TOPS!
This is an idea I've been slowly implementing. If you have 30 tops (many women have 150 or more including tees, tanks, sweaters, sweatshirts, long sleeved, short sleeved, dress blouses, cotton blouses, etc.), you could wear each top ONLY ONCE A MONTH for an entire year!

Bonanza in Town Compost Pile
For a penny pinching gardener, the town compost pile is it is like finding the lost city of gold with nary an Inca nor Mayan civilization destroyed in the process.
