Blessing Our Food on this Thanksgiving Day
For centuries, peoples of all religions and countries have said their own special prayers for the blessing of their food, before a meal to give thanks for the food and other good things in their lives and on their tables.
You can type out in colored fonts and attach to a goody bag. Red is the color of the blood Jesus gave to forgive our sins so we can be saved.
When life's decisions get overwhelming, one way to find your way back to order is to create a God box. Where (or if) you go to church doesn't matter; your God can be Christian, Jewish, Mother Nature, the Cosmos or anything in between. The magic of a God box happens when you release your problems and questions to a higher intelligence.
I just read of a wonderful way to pray. Draw your prayer. Draw what you see as the problem and then draw how you see God resolving it. I think this would be a wonderful way to teach children to pray. All kids love to draw.
Need Help With Creating Clever Flyer For Church Invitation
I'm looking for some clever words to use on a flyer, inviting parents at our grade school to a coffee/donut get together after mass on first Fridays.
Probably the last place you'd expect to find a cake recipe is in the Bible. The ingredients are there in its pages. You'll enjoy hunting up the references and the mixing is simple. It's a delicious fruit cake.
Once again I need your thoughts and wisdom. My mother has cancer. She is near the end of her chemotherapy. I asked God to send me a sign to let me know if she's going to be ok. The next night while stargazing I saw what I'm sure was a white angel fly over our house.
