This is a great game for all ages.
Start collecting large sized old clothes from thrift shops and charity shops, stuff like bloomers, silly hats, skirts, pants, t-shirts and anything that would cause embarrassment to wear it. You could ask your granny to have a clear out. Make sure everything is clean and muddle the whole lot up in a big refuse sack (not a clear one).

To play the game everyone sits or stands in a circle with the bag in the middle, one person is in charge of music. Give the guest of honour and object to pass around the circle (an apple or anything small) while the music is playing, when the music stops the person left holding the object has to delve into the bag without looking and pull out a garment and put it on regardless of what it is. Keep going until all the clothes are in use, then choose a winner by having a fashion show. (09/01/2006)

Depending on the weather, the personalities of the guests and; how many.

1. I rented an indoor pool at a hotel, had pizza, and music, which included a lifeguard ($150 for 16).
2. Winter, I provided large garbage bags and found a large hill and went sliding, food and cocoa.
3. Went ice skating and roller skating.
4. Rented a DJ set up a volleyball in the backyard.

It all depend on the guests, Kewl, timid, shy, hotshots, in the guest list. Just make sure that all have their own things or places to hang out. 14 is a hard age. Money is also a big consideration. (What will you need for when your 15,16 etc.) Balloons and cake may have stopped by that age. But, adult supervision is still required. Have fun and happy birthday. (09/01/2006)
