Blanching Corn

Can I cut the corn of the cob before I blanch it?

Blanch first, then cut and freeze the kernels. Otherwise you have a mess in the water because you cut the kernel when you cut the corn off the cob. (09/18/2009)

You don't need to blanch corn so just go ahead and remove from the cob and freeze :-) (09/18/2009)
