Be a Greener Reader
By Ellen Brown
If you like to read, you might be interested to know that it takes somewhere in the neighborhood of 5 trees to print 1,000 books. At first glance this may not sound like much, but consider the fact that about 3 billion books are sold each year worldwide.

Recommended Reading for Financial Security
For anyone who wants his/her life to include financial security, I highly recommend the reading and putting into practice the suggestions made in the book by George S. Clason, "The Richest Man in Babylon".

Link: What Book Got You Hooked?
I vote for the Literacy site for free, among others, daily so those sites will receive donations for their cause . Right now the Literacy site has a question posted: "What Book Got You Hooked?"

Button and Ribbon Bookmark
As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, I use my Bible on a daily basis. My Bible only has 1 piece of ribbon as a place mark. During my Bible reading, I find a lot of Scriptures I would like to remember, so this is what I did.

Weight Watcher's Quick Start Book (1980)
I am searching for the Weight Watchers Quick Start Guide that was around in the late 70s, or early 80s. It is not a book, just a small pamphlet.

Lasagna Gardening
My yard was quite boring and I have never had a green thumb. I was unsure what to do other than hire someone to do it for me. Then one day I saw a book at Cracker Barrel on building a Lasagna Garden. I read the book and then I decided to give it a try.

Looking for Old Fairy Tales Book
I had a book of fairy tales when I was a child and it finally fell apart. My mother threw it away one day and I would like to replace it. I do not know the title of it (sadly) and it has been 10 years since I have seen it. I purchased it at a yard sale. Now that I have children, I would like to read them stories from this book. There are many books out there that are good, but I want this particular book.

Websites That Sell Really Cheap Books
Does anyone out there know of a website that carries really cheap used books? I'm also not too particular about what shape the books are in, as long as they're not missing any pages. Preferably one that has reasonable shipping rate.
