Here's a tip for all those ladies that have problems with static cling, especially in the winter time. If you use softener in your washer and dryer and still have static cling, take a small safety pin and pin it to the outside of your slip.
I love the way my laundry feels and smells when using fabric softener but I never want to spend the money. So I purchased a plain spray bottle and fabric softener, filled it with fabric softener about 1/3 of the way up and the rest of way with water.
Clothes dryer drums make fine recycle barrels, planters, and small burn barrels. I wouldn't be surprised if they could be used for a number of things I haven't thought of.

I recently bought a sewing/embroidery machine and love to embroider on things that I make. The stabilizer is pretty expensive so I didn't buy any, instead I use dryer sheets.
My Mitten Drying Rack Has Many Uses
I get a lot of use out of a simple mitten drying rack! I use it to dry my rubber gloves after cleaning, my ziploc bags that I wash and save, dish towels...which do not dry very fast in the kitchen. I also put my grandson's little wet shoes on the mitten tree.
Bounce This Along - Uses For Bounce Fabric Softener
My mail carrier told me that the US Postal service sent out a message to all letter carriers to put a sheet of Bounce in their uniform pockets to keep yellow-jackets away. I use them all the time when playing baseball and soccer. I use it when I am working outside. It really works. The insects just veer around you.
