Whistler PeakCan anyone tell me what is the cheapest way to send a bicycle from B.C. to Ontario. Our daughter has been living temporarily in Vancouver and now wants to move back home to Ontario. She has purchased a bike and wants to ship it home; funds are limted. My question is... 'What is the least expensive way to do this...train, plane or a courier such as Purolator?' Any advice would be welcome. Thanks in advance

I believe Puralator would be best. They can tell you if they carry bike boxes or where to get one. It will have to be broken down to ship.

I'm not sure about these days, but 12 years ago I shipped a large dog crate by Grehound Bus for $1.50, from Seattle to South Texas...

To be thrifty, our family only took one small 4 day holiday this summer and drove to Whistler, BC which is about a three hour drive from our house. On our way home, we stopped in the town of Squamish for lunch and visited Shannon Falls.
