Working With Creditors
How do you deal with your creditors when you can't pay the full amount, if you have lost your job etc.? I try to explain, but most want money no matter what? I did get one card closed and a low payment plan, but only one would do this for me.

What Should We Do With a Truck That We Can't Afford?
We are upside down on a truck. We need to relieve ourselves of this monthly payment. It is too much for us to handle. Is the best way to turn in the truck and make monthly payments on the remaining balance? Does anyone have any ideas?

Getting Out of Debt
I hope someone can help me with my problem. I am deep into debt and I would like to know if someone could guide me with a very basic easy way to get myself out of this ordeal. I have tried everything that i could and still I fall back. I am going to start this week when i get paid to get this monkey off my back.

How we paid off 20K in 5 years on 22K averaged income.

In 5 years we paid off $20,000 of debt and medical bills on an average income of $22,000 per year. We didn't have $20,000 debt when we were married. My husband had $3,000 in credit card debts at the time.

Debt Reduction Companies in Iowa
I am wondering if anyone who lives in Iowa can recommend a good company for debt reduction, etc. What I am looking for is the type of company that takes credit card debt and other unsecured type debts and gets payments and interest lowered for its customers.
