Help With Prescription Drugs
When my husband and I were struggling to pay for prescription drugs we contacted the pharmaceutical companies directly. They had us fill out a very brief financial statement (not too detailed) and they then sent us the medication for FREE.

Health Insurance Options for 25 Year Old
I am 25 yrs. old. I am a full-time student and only work part-time. I think I am too old for Medic-aid. What are some other options? If I have to go to the crowded health department, I will. I've been without insurance for over 2 years so I'm pushing my luck. Keep in mind, I don't have the money to pay for a plan.

Medigap or Medicare Advantage?
I recently requested info about medicare supplemental plans. Thanks for the replies I received so far. However, I am still wondering if anyone can explain something called medicare advantage plans, and how they work? I have to choose either a medigap plan, or a medicare advantage plan along with medicare a&b.

A Healthier Approach to Medical Costs
By Kelly Ann Butterbaugh
Nobody enjoys the hassle of medical insurance and its paperwork, claims, and denials, yet it's one of those things that one appreciates most when it isn't there. There are ways to save money on those parts of the claims that aren't paid, however. Follow these tips and make the cost of healthcare less stressful. After all, stress isn't good for your health either.

Medicare Supplemental Insurance
My question is pertaining to medicare supplemental insurance. Even though a person has medicare part A and B, a supplemental insurance is necessary (called medi-gap). There is also something called medicare advantage HMO and PPO. I don't know if it would be better to select the medicare advantage plan (whether the HMO or PPO) along with medicare B, or if I would be better off selecting a supplemental plan (medi-gap) like AARP, or what plan to choose.

Paying a Large Dental Bill
I am wondering if anyone has read or bought the book "Free Money To Pay Your Bills" and wondering if it helped or has worked for you. The reason I am wondering is because my husband needs 12,000.00 worth of dental work done and fast and we need help to come up with this money.

Mail Order Prescriptions
Place a written reminder on a calendar immediately after opening your mail order medicine to let you know when you need to reorder. This is great especially for mail order scripts which many of us have for our maintenance medicine.

Using A Mail Order Pharmacy
By Sandra Roberts
I talk to people every day who are amazed at how much they can save by using the mail order pharmacy that is available through their benefits package from their employer. It is nice to be able to use your local pharmacy for those medications that you need immediately, like an antibotic or a pain medication.
