Keeping Track of Bill Due Dates
To help me pay my bills on time, I put them in a drawer that I open often. I write the date due on the envelope, and stack them with the earliest date on top. This helps me pay on time.

Paying Off Bills
I don't know what to do with all my bills. My wife and I work but cannot save anything. Everything goes to bills. I know that you shouldn't beg anyone for money, but sometimes I wish to do it. Just pay it off and to start over. I'm so tired of all this. What can I do?

Keep an Eye on Automatic Debit Payments
I live on Social Security Disability and nothing else. I've signed up for automatic payment for utilities, phone, etc., but I've had some REALLY bad experiences! Set up your accounts to be paid on-line, but do NOT sign up for the automatic debit.

Splitting Bills with Spouse
Should a wife who earns more than her husband be willing to pay some of the bills. My wife says that because I'm the man, I'm solely responsible for paying the bills. I earn about 40% of our family income, but I pay about 90% of our expenses. Am I reasonable to expect more from her?

Pay A Little Bit Over To Keep Each Month's Payment Different
Do you have a merchant that you pay every month (i.e., doctor, mortgage, etc.) that is exactly the same amount and had the unfortunate situation of having to contest that they hadn't posted the payment, and they say they never received it?

Repaying Cigna for Disability Overpayment
My husband received his retroactive back pay from Social Security. He was supposed to forward it to Cigna, as repayment for overpayment of long term disability received from Cigna.

Pay Bills Online To Save
Pay as many bills online as you can. This saves paper waste, cost of stamps and the cost of checks. Most companies now ask if you want to be paperless and they send you an email of your bill.

Negotiate Payment Plans For Bills
When dealings with your bills, remember; everything is negotiable, even (or maybe even especially) utility bills. I have lived in the same place for, jee, 20+ years with the same account so I find that I can negotiate payments for my phone, gas, electric, etc.
