Can I plant Wisteria pods?

My Uncle gave me a green wisteria seed pod and I want to grow some plants from it. What do I need to do to get the seeds to grow?

I haven't tried planting wisteria, but my dad used to grow one. I do know that if the pod is green, it was picked too early, as they are brown when they're done. I would probably take the seeds out of the pods. To get garden seeds to sprout, you have to mimic spring, wet and often in good soil. (07/24/2009)

Now I have seeds that drop from trees that sounds like hail falling. Wisteria is very invasive and been around my property for at least 40 years, from someone else's land. Now it is invading me and it kills trees by suffocating the light and water from reaching the trees. I used to love the trees, but now that I am dealing with it on my trees and the seeds falling everywhere, the birds dispensing them too. Beware of these trees
