Can Someone Identify This Plant?

This plant was part of an arrangement that was given at the funeral for my mother-in-law. I separated the 5 plants that were in the arrangement, potted them up and identified the other 4. This one is a mystery. By the way, all the plants are doing well now that they are in their own pots.

Thanks for your answers. So far this plant most resembles the Prunus laurocerasus. Guess I'll have to wait to see if it blooms.

It may be either a Cherry Laurel or a prunus laurocerasus otto luyken as they are both in this family but it looks like the Cherry Laurel may have fatter/more round leaves and the otto luyken has a slimmer leaf but I believe it is in this family. Very similar plants.

They make great hedges but can be considered very poisonous.

Yes, it does appear to be the otto luyken judging by the leaf structure and size. Since I am growing this as a house plant, I don't know if it will bloom. If it does. then it's identity will be confirmed. Thanks for your answer.
