Instead of buying those multi-hanger type hangers, use the tabs from tab opening cans, such as soda, cat food, ravioli, etc., to hook one or more clothes hangers together to create more room in your closet! Just slip the tab onto the hanger hook and connect the hangers!

I love the notion, but have often found the raw edges catch on finer fabrics and woolens. Instead, large-link plastic chain from the hardware store works wonderfully.
I sometimes use the plastic shower curtain rings that come with a new shower curtain. There are always plenty of them around and I keep them for reuse in many ways.
