Candied Sweet Potatoes
- 1 cup dark corn syrup
- 1/2 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. margarine
- 12 medium size sweet potatoes, peeled, halved lengthwise, cook in water until just tender
In small saucepan, heat first 3 ingredients to boiling. Simmer 5 minutes. Pour over potatoes that have been place in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Bake 20 minutes, basting often at 350 degrees F.
