Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup dark Karo syrup
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 6 cups Crispix
  • 1 1/2 cup peanuts or any nuts

Directions

Heat brown sugar, dark Karo syrup and butter to boiling point. Pour over Crispix and nuts. Put in a greased jelly roll pan and put into a 350 degrees F oven for 30 minutes. Stir frequently. Spread on waxed paper. Stir as it cools.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. Crispix
  • 1/2 of large jar of dry roasted peanuts

Directions

Put in brown paper bag.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 stick of margarine
  • 1/4 cup Karo syrup

Directions

Bring to boil for 1 1/2 minutes

Pour over the Crispix and nuts in the bag. Shake. Put bag in microwave for 1 minute. Shake. Repeat procedure 3 times. Put on cookie sheet to cool.

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 box Crispix

Directions

Boil the margarine, brown sugar, syrup and salt for 1 1/2 minutes. Add baking soda. Pour over the cereal in a glass or microwave dish. Cook in microwave for 4 minutes. Stir after each minute. Spread on cookie sheet to cool. Mix with peanut M&M's.

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup dark Karo syrup
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 6 cups Crispix
  • 1/2 sack stick pretzels
  • nuts (pecans are best)

Directions:

Use large mixing bowl. Bring to a good boil: sugar, syrup, and margarine. Pour over dry ingredients and mix thoroughly until well coated. Spread mixture very thinly on 2 cookie sheets; very sticky. Bake in 325 degrees F oven for 15 minutes. Remove from oven. Let cool slightly and break up. Work rapidly so syrup does not harden on cookie sheet. Store in dry tightly sealed container.
