Carrot Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 cups grated carrots
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • Ad
  • 1 1/2 cups oil
  • 1/2 cup nuts

Icing:

  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 box powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup margarine

Directions

Cream oil and sugar. Add eggs. Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Add carrots and nuts. Place in greased and floured pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.

For Icing: Beat all of the above ingredients together and frost cooled cake.
