A/C Problems In 2003 Olds Silhouette
I have a 2003 Olds Silhouette. The A/C works, but stops working and restarts without a change to the controls. The coolant was checked and determined to be full. Cabin filter was cleaned of debris and recently replaced. Do you think it is the compressor or does it have a clutch that could be the problem or something else? Thanks I am a long time fan.

Use Heat To Remove Lug Nuts

Use Anti-Seize Lubricant on Lug Nuts
When changing a tire, put a small amount of Anti-seize lubricant on each wheel stud. The next time you have to change the tire, it will be much less difficult to loosen the lug nuts. Anti-seize lubricant is available at auto part stores.

Last week, I was at my local mechanic's shop. He began telling me about someone who had installed an HHO gas generator. This person is also a customer of the same mechanic, so I was wondering, do HHO gas generators actually work?

Combine Errands to Save Gas
To cut down on driving, keep a list of all the errands you need to run. Don't make a trip until you can combine at least a couple errands.

Beware the Cost of Repairing Your Car
I wanted to mention to all Thrifty car buyers to beware of the cost to replace parts on your economical car. I firmly believe the manufacturer does not make money on an economical car you purchase because they make up for the loss through the replacement parts you will need to fix your car.
