Use Fitted Bassinet Sheet to Keep Car Seat Cool
Here's an a-ha use for a white fitted bassinet sheet your child has outgrown: cover her dark car seat with it (while the car is parked) to keep it cool! A bassinet sheet fits nicely over a bigger kid's seat.

Use T-Shirts as Car Seat Covers
With several dogs in and out of my car several times a week, I needed something to protect the front seats from their rubbing fur and other stuff onto the upholstery. Seat covers were absurdly expensive so I now use the cheapest t-shirts I can find or use old ones.

Kids Car Games
Hitting the road with the kids means hours in the car listening to them complain about being bored. Well, never fear the old games we used to play are still around and to top it off you can create some new car fun. Who needs the car video player or hand held games?

If you ever had to change a tire and you lose some of the hub cap bolts, take one off of each of the other three tires and you can limp on into a service station. Hope this helps!

Hair Clips Hold Sunglasses on Visor
I have long hair that sometimes gets in my way so I usually keep a hair clip hooked to my car's visor in case I need it. I recently found it is the perfect way to hold my sunglasses to the visor! I've also started using a hair clip to hold my car's registration and insurance info to the inside-top of the passenger-side visor.

Score Your Car Tags To Avoid Theft
To keep your car tag registration sticker from being stolen. Clean the area where it goes well. Window cleaner works best because of the alcohol. After adhering the new one well, score (cut) it several times with a razor blade. Someone trying to steal it only gets bits and pieces instead of it coming off in one piece.
