| Take Turns on Long Distance Bulk Shopping
We live in a small town with limited shopping. The nearest bulk shopping is 115 miles away. My friends and I take turns making the round trip and go in on purchases of paper towels and other disposables.

| Pocket The Savings From Lower Gas Prices
With gas prices decreasing, I have been putting the difference from what I was paying for gas (with the high prices) to what I am currently paying in savings. Wow, this is really starting to add up nicely!

By Kelly Ann Butterbaugh

A recent CNN report stated that airlines are reducing fuel costs by lightening airplanes. Drinking glasses have been replaced by plastic ones, and any unnecessary item such as an old cooking oven in the stewards' area has been removed.

| Fill Your Gas Tank Often
Gas here has been in the three dollar range, $3.69 today. I don't let my gas tank get lower then three-quarters empty. It usually costs $20.00 or $25.00 to fill the tank, about every two or three weeks depends how much and how far I drive. I always have someone else get it for me. That hose is just too heavy for me and I don't want to drive away with it still in the tank.

| Do HHO Gas Generators Work?

Last week, I was at my local mechanic's shop. He began telling me about someone who had installed an HHO gas generator. This person is also a customer of the same mechanic, so I was wondering, do HHO gas generators actually work?

| Finding the Silver Lining Behind the Gas Prices
By Kelly Ann Butterbaugh
There's not much that would make me happier than seeing a dollar sign followed by the number two at gas stations. I long for the days that I complained about gas prices exceeding $2 per gallon. However, there's little that I can do to find immediate relief, so I'm going to try to make the best of things. Other than conserving and complaining, what other choice do I have?

| Schedule Appointments on the Same Day
With gasoline prices so high, a couple we know tries to make several of their doctors' visits all in one day. They always carry the other doctor's phone numbers, so they can call if they are going to be late and need to reschedule.

| Driving The Speed Limit To Save Money
Gas prices are rising rapidly (as always), so here's a tip for getting better gas mileage: OBEY SPEED LIMITS! Studies show that, for every 5 miles per hour you drive over 60 mph, it's like paying an extra 20 cents per gallon of gas! And, by actually going the speed limit, you'll be avoiding a pricey speeding ticket.
