Cat Losing Hair?

My cat has severe hair loss. It started off around his groin and has spread all over his body and he is always licking himself. What can I do because it has spread to my other cat, although it's only a small amount of hair loss.

Your poor cat obviously has a difficult problem and needed help when the problem first started. He is licking himself because it itches, hurts, etc. Please take both cats to your vet immediately as both cats need immediate help.

This is probably mange. It can spread to any other animals they come in contact with. If it is mange, it will also continue until all their hair falls out and their skin is itchy, flaky and crusty.

Unless, that is, you treat it properly. Which means taking them to the vet.
