Cat Losing Hair on Back?

My cat is losing hair on his back. It turns red and then it comes out. Any help?

i think you will need to see a Vet. Unless you can see them, skin conditions are very hard to diagnose.

I agree with the answer above, you need to see a vet. In the meantime, have you checked him/her for fleas ? Have you noticed a change in behavior (excessive licking, scratching where the hair comes off...) ?
