Cat Vomiting and Not Eating?

Cat Vomiting and Not EatingCan anyone help me? My cat had vomited in the morning then I took him to the vet. After treatment he felt better, but he vomited again after 2 hours after I gave him the medicine. He is not eating anything and he is being too weak. He hasn't eaten since this morning what should I do?

Call the vet immediately. A
Cat not eating and vomiting could get serious soon.

I'm confused that you took him to the vet and the vet was not able to help him. What treatment did the vet give? Because obviously a trained vet who physically saw him would have more insight than we would.

Aside from that,it could either be some sort of virus or he ate something that disagreed with him. Did he go outside or get into anything he should not have? I.e. Under the sink? The biggest thing is to make sure he did not eat poison.

Evidently the medicine the vet gave the cat wore off. You need to get him back to the vet. What medicine was it? Are you sure the cat actually took the medicine? (they are sneaky and sometimes you find a pill later that you thought you had down them). Make sure it does drink water until you get it back in as cats can dehydrate quickly. Also, is it possible it did get into something it should not have and then got back into it again?

GO RIGHT BACK! Get the vets census and make sure you have what exactly is wrong, but get help immediately.

i hope your cat has gotten the proper treatment-she needs sub qs---shots that you give her if you cannot afford to keep her at a vet with an iv line (and even then she will still need sub qs afterwards). did she hit her head? in addition to the fatty liver tests she should be scanned for a hemorrage

Was the cat examined for hairballs?
