Chicken and Rice Casserole with Fried Onions

I'm looking for a simple chicken and rice casserole that has french fried onions on top and in it.

Here's a recipe I have for Chicken and Rice Casserole. It doesn't have french fried onions on it, but you could easily add them. Hope this helps.

Chicken pieces
• Pkg. Onion Soup Mix (french fried onions)
• 1 can cream of mushroom soup
• 1 can cream of celery soup
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1 1/2 cup rice (uncooked)

Spread mixture in a greased 9x13 inch dish. Place as many chicken pieces on top of rice that will fit in a single layer. Sprinkle 1 package of dry onion soup mix over all (or french fried onions). Cover with foil and bake at 325 degrees F for approx. 2 hours. Serves 6 (04/18/2007)
